The Holtz Center for Science and Technology Studies (STS) is seeking a new Associate Director. Please consider sharing this information with your colleagues who may be interested in joining our team. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, April 14th.
The Associate Director is the administrative program manager for the Holtz Center, a 20-year old interdisciplinary center that seeks to build a thriving community for research, teaching, and outreach related to science and technology studies. In addition to day-to-day administration of ongoing programs, the Associate Director will contribute to the Center’s teaching mission by teaching one STS course per year, and will support the Faculty Director and Steering Committee in identifying new areas for growth and advancement.
The Associate Director is expected to stay up-to-date with developments in the field of Science and Technology Studies as part of their teaching and programmatic responsibilities.
The ideal candidate holds a doctoral degree in STS or a related field and has experience in academic program management. Strong preference will be given to those interested in building local and regional infrastructure for STS research, teaching, and outreach over the long term.
