Morgan Edwards

I am an Assistant Professor of Public Affairs whose research and teaching focus on human-centered energy responses to the climate crisis across policymaking scales. I draw on mixed quantitative and qualitative methods, combining large datasets and community knowledge with systems modeling, to assess and track the multi-dimensional impacts of human energy use. Current projects focus on assessing inequities in building electrification (natural gas infrastructure transitions) and evaluating the impacts of novel energy and climate technologies such as carbon dioxide removal. The Holtz Center is one of my favorite places on campus to discuss energy, infrastructure, and equitable climate futures.
