Biography

I am a Professor of Psychology whose research interests focus on human learning and neuroplasticity. One major line of research in the lab focuses on how various types of video games can be used to improve perceptual and cognitive functions (e.g., visual attention, multi-tasking, executive functions, planning, etc.). We’re also interested in a host of other research areas related to the impact of/associations with video game play, including the potential for various types of video games to be associated with “problem play” (e.g., internet gaming disorder/video game addiction).
